Lip fillers are injectable dermal filler used to give fuller and plumper lips. They contain hyaluronic acid and can improve the appearance of your lips by adding shape, structure and volume.

What to expect during the procedure?
​
Before the injections, a topical or local numbing agent may be applied to ease discomfort. Sometimes nerve block injections can be given before the treatment to completely numb the lips. These injections are similar to the intra oral injections at the dentist. Very fine needles are then used to inject the substance into the lips.
Following injection, ice may be given to ease discomfort and control swelling. You should be able to notice a difference immediately.

What are the side effects?
Side effects of hyaluronic acid fillers are temporary and should only last a few days. They include bleeding, swelling, bruising, redness and tenderness.
